Someday I Will was a project inspired by artist Candy Chang. By working with at risk youth through the Friendtorship program at Portland State, I taught an art literacy lesson on how design can help create a space for safety, discussion, and community. To make it happen, we built panels of 3x6ft chalkboards, spray painted stencils of our phrase and installed it in a hallway at the high school.
